Market Fleas is a South African Online Flea & Craft Market, similar to the American etsy.com. A platform where small craft businesses can sell their unique products. No such platform exists outside of the US and UK, so the potential for this business is enormous. We’ve been running for just over two months, and we laready have close to 60 individuals selling their goods on the site. We’ve had over 30 000 page view in the last two months and we’re currently growing at about 2 000 page views a day.
What makes this venture so unique is that an investment is not in one company but potentially thousands, not just in South Africa but Africa and Global. We’re very interested in meeting anyone that can give direction, advice or funding to support this small but potentially gigantic venture.

To answer your question, etsy.com is pretty advanced already and they have 5 years on us but there are a million ways that we can differentiate ourselves so the aim will…[Read more]
