Next2.Us’s mission is to promote awareness of local resources so friends and neighbors can use the internet and mobile phones to find each other and together build strong viable communities. As a “geosocial” application the Next2.Us software allows anyone to set a location on a map, publish information about their location (including their interest and expertise) and discover and exchange content with others based on geographical proximity between users.
Next2.Us is a mobile application that uses SMS messaging protocol and/or mobile browser as way to classify and exchange data between users.
