AGRO-HUB seeks to break the cycle of poverty that has entrapped most families living in the rural agricultural communities of Cameroon by exposing these farmers’ agricultural activities and expand food distribution channels and infrastructure.
Think of AGRO-HUB as “a social middle man” possessing the leverage of technology to connect with more farmers/growers and consumers/traders than any single middle man can possibly do.
Gaining a key market position this way, AGRO-HUB will be able to foster agricultural market reforms, increase food distribution channels and infrastructure, attract foreign investments and drive more profits to the farmers/growers.

AGRO-HUB 1 month, 2 weeks ago This is a great website and a great concept. In a few years, I can see specialist restaurants in Europe and the West using this website to source food directly from the farmers, by-passing all the costly intermediary buyers. Keep it up!

AGRO-HUB 3 months, 3 weeks ago According to Agric. technician Mr. Rudolf Mbuh, we should be expecting 150+ farmers for a free workshop as such. Is this realistic? We’ll find out.

With so many farmers, I recommend breaking them up into smaller stations whether focusing on business or technical disucssions. Typically if a group grows to more than 20, you may find it a bit chaotic.

Very helpful insight Rachel. I have given presentations to small group of farmers(below 30) but one of this size is new. I’ll definitely appreciate tips like this and any advice you can give.
I wish we could connect on skype for a realtime feedback. I’d be able to explain the nature and structure of the workshop better.

Love It! I would recommend refining the opening pitch. It was confusing even for me and I work in the ag sector. Not entirely sure if you are linking growers to market, markets to markets or influencing ag policy through market investment.

A “distributed” stock exchange is certainly another perspective to the finish line of AGRO-HUB. So you are right to think like us that there is a huge potential to change agriculture in Cameroon.
