The Guardian website recently published an African Economic Outlook of 2012. The visualization shows that Africa has emerged as one of the fastest growing regions of the world.
Follow this link and click on the map on the bottom of the page to see each country’s Gross Domestic product (GDP) growth since 2008 (2011 growth is estimated; 2012 and 2013 are projections). One can see that all countries will experience an increase of the GDP between 3% and 7% and some of them will grow much faster (for example Ethiopia, Mozambique and Ghana).
The Global Development initiative of The Guardian (supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation), has an editorially independent focus on global development – with particular reference to the millennium development goals.
